The Committee to Save Pouch Camp, formed 2009-2010

The Committee to Save Pouch Camp was founded and formed by Eagle Scouts Dominic DeRubbio, Brandon Linker and Alex Zablocki - all Staten Island residents.

The Committee's mission is to raise awareness of the possible sale of Pouch Camp and to bring all stakeholders to the table to formulate a solution to save Pouch Camp.

The Committee consists of dozens of community leaders and groups, including:

The Website

This website was started to create a place we, concerned Scouts and residents of Staten Island and New York City, could come to get informed and get involved in saving Pouch Camp.

Help support our efforts!

Donate today: Proceeds will be used to defray costs associated with protecting Pouch Camp by the Committee to Save Pouch Camp (i.e. to purchase lawn signs, make photo copies, print fliers, etc.)
Make check payable to Protectors of Pine Oak Woods.
In the memo area contributors are to put "Greenbelt Defense Fund/Pouch Camp".
